ISO certification

ISO is an abbreviation for the International Organization for Standardization, a non-governmental organization headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.

The main goal of ISO is to establish internationally accepted standards. The standards established by ISO are called ISO standards.

The ISO standard is an international standard that “let’s provide the same quality and the same level all over the world” for some products and services in order to facilitate international transactions. The ISO standard is decided by the votes of the participating countries of 165 countries (as of 2014) including Japan.

In Japan, the Japan Quality Assurance Organization (JQA), as a fair third-party organization, carries out certification, testing, inspection, etc. regarding management systems, products, the environment, etc.

On the other hand, ISO standards have been established not only for the products themselves but also for the mechanism (management system) for managing the quality activities and environmental activities of the organization.

The ISO management system standard is a standard related to the management system established by ISO and corresponds to the standard such as the quality management system (ISO 9001).

The services of Ryobi Transport Company and affiliated companies also have ISO / IEC certification.
